1. Requirements for Filing a DMCA Notice

2. Processing of Infringement Claims
Upon receiving a valid, fully compliant DMCA notice, Snapjotz.com will take swift action to investigate the claim. If the notification meets all legal parameters, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content within 24 to 48 business hours.
Please note that we may also forward a copy of your notice, including your name and email address, to the user or contributor who originally uploaded or published the material in question.
3. Filing a Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or as a result of a misidentification, you have the right to file a formal Counter-Notification under the DMCA.
To be effective, your Counter-Notification must be a written communication sent to [email protected] and must include the following details:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the exact URL location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
- Your full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Snapjotz com may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification.
Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. The DMCA allows us to restore the removed content within 10 to 14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action seeking a restraining order against the contributor.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
Snapjotz com takes intellectual property theft very seriously. In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we enforce a strict repeat infringer policy. We reserve the right to permanently block, ban, and terminate the accounts or contributor privileges of any user, writer, or guest poster who repeatedly violates copyright terms or fails to provide legitimate original material.
5. False Claims Warning
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material or activity on a website is infringing may be held legally liable for damages. This includes court costs and attorneys’ fees incurred by Snapjotz com or the affected contributor who suffers from an unwarranted takedown.
